Welcome to the second edition of your pet monthly. There are a wide range of articles culled together to help you with your pet care. Cats and dogs are prevalent this time, but your pet monthly is open for all pet types.
Pet Health and Medical
- inewman presents A Cat with Kidney Disease posted at Cat Behaviour Maven, saying, "A while back we discovered that two of our cats have kidney disease. This has required us to inject fluid under there skin on a regular basis. What fun."
- Debbie Foster presents Why You Should Want to Get Rid of Cat Fleas posted at Pet Prattle and Products.
Family and Pets
- Emma presents Kids and pets need to learn mutual respect posted at Baby-Log, saying, "How to teach kids and pets to co-exist."
Pet Advice
- Micki Kosman presents Adopt A Dog posted at Happy Healthy Puppy - Adopt A Dog, saying, "One of the best parts of having this site is the chance to connect with other people who truly care about animals. Liz from Ottawa Dog Blog is one of those people. Liz's site has a lot of great information on dog stores, parks, breeders, shelters, and charity events. She even has some resources on training and behaviour. Definitely check it out, even if you're not from the area. Her focus is on helping families find a new pet from a breeder or shelter. She's got a great list of adoption shelters in the Ottawa, Canada area. One of the kindest, most responsible ways to get a dog is to adopt a dog that's unwanted. Many people don't want to adopt a dog from a rescue or animal shelter because they think of a used dog like a used car. After all, who wants someone else's mistake and problem?"
- Nancy Miller presents Top 100 Websites for Pet Ownership Advice posted at Veterinary Technician Schools Online.
- Anne Good presents Identifying Responsible Dog Breeders posted at A.G. Out Loud!.
Pet Care
- Learn How To Make Flea Powder posted at Home Life Weekly, saying, "This is a really easy recipe to make your own flea powder its really simple"
- Amir Marzouq presents Bamboo Needs Organic Dog Toys posted at Guffly, saying, "Guffly is a one product per day online store and community featuring eco friendly products and fair trade lifestyle goods like home, pet, clothing, office and personal accessories. We know that people aren’t interested in ugly stuff, so you can bet Guffly’s green products are stylish, fun and attractive – eco stylish if you will."
Pet Stories
- Patricia Turner presents 100 Great Sites to Satisfy Your Daily Cute Pet Pics Fix posted at Veterinary Technician Schools Online.
- Marina presents Loving Standard Poodles posted at Dogs Info Planet.
- Shelley Munro presents Quality of Life posted at Shelley Munro Blog, Author of Contemporary and Paranormal Romance.
Pet Training
